The Nitro R&D team has revolutionized the riding experience by introducing AIR Plus technology on the new favorite Phantom binding. The main goal is to improve the precision of the entire snowboard interface, including boots, bindings, and the board, by offering full adjustability with groundbreaking dampening technologies for the ultimate all-mountain ride. These enhancements help intermediate to advanced riders improve their riding skills. The Phantom binding is for riders who prefer a minimalistic and lightweight approach focusing on dampening comfort while maintaining excellent foothold, fit, and precision.

Universal Mini Disc – Compatible with 2x4 and the channel system

Evolution at its peak! Smaller foot print and less impact on the boards natural flex Nitro’s mini disk sets the standard in disk functionality. The new snap feature lets you choose  and lock in your binding angle before you mount your bindings - set it once never lose it again!

BOARD SAVER TECHNOLOGY

The corners on the base plate of the bindings are rounded to reduce a hard friction point where the binding and board meet. The rounded corners underneath the binding allow the board to flex more naturally around the binding base tray as well allow for a more natural ride and less stress to the board in these areas.

ÜBERGRIP TOE STRAP with Vibram© EcoStep™ rubber

Co-developed with VIBRAM® known for their high performance rubber outsoles we designed a toe strap that combines the shape and feel of our B.E.S.T. Convertible toe strap concept with the sticky X strek/ ECO STEP rubber from VIBRAM®. The strap adapts to any boots toe box shape while the rubber keeps the strap in place no matter how hard you stomp your landing whether it’s wet or freezing.

We are continuously looking for new ways to reduce our carbon footprint and waste in production and we are happy to announce that we are now working with the Vibram © ECOSTEP™ rubber for less waste and better traction.

CΑMPLE REINFORCED RATCHETS AND CONNECTORS:

Over-molded stainless steel cables inside of the ratchets and connector straps – no more stretch no more breaks.

FORGED ALUMINUM SPEEDWHEEL BUCKLES:

The strongest and lightest aluminium lever combined with the smoothness of a polymer Speedwheel. These buckles work like a dream and last forever- No stripping no slipping

EASY ENTRY BUCKLES AND RATCHETS:

These S-curved ratchet straps stay out of your way when stepping into the binding. The wide-mouth buckle funnel helps you guide the ratchet for an ultra fast precise bite of your buckles.

Climate Partner enables us to assess our carbon footprint identify areas for improvement and localize our improvement efforts while being able to act instantly by offsetting 100% of the climate emissions created through our bindings life cycle.

Minimal Waste Initiative

• Nitro use 20% recycled material in our plastic parts
• All plastic parts are injection molded a nearly zero-waste process
• Nitro banned any plastic packaging and use only recycled cardboard to protect our bindings
