The Frontier Split is the perfect split for playful riders looking for a directional freeride shape with a friendly flex that's easy to turn and tweak. The Frontier features a floaty nose for ripping pow matched with a freestyle tail for popping pillows and stomping cliff drops.
The Frontier Split is the ultimate splitboard for playful riders looking for a directional freeride shape without a stiff flex. The Frontier features a floaty, freeride nose for pow crushing and crud busting matched with a freestyle tail thatas perfect for popping pillows and stomping cliff drops. On icy skin tracks or firm descents, the Directional Rocker profile and Inner/Outer Traction Tech 2.0 edges provide confident stability and edge grip. The Frontier Split offers high performance without skimping on materials as itas built with a Sintered 8000 base, an Eco-plastic topsheet and a Classic V-Core that is specially profiled for added pop between the feet. The Frontier Split is also equipped with upgraded Karakoram Ultra Clip 2.0, and easily replaceable, screw mounted, Karakoram tip clips.

Base : Sintered 8000 Base
New super durable material made from Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMW-PE) and carbon. Base is easily repairable highly wax absorbent and wicked fast.
Wend Natural Wax
Jones boards are ready to shred straight out of the shop and are factory waxed with WEND natural wax.
Flip-Flop Base
Producing two or more base color options minimizes p-tex waste. Order may be filled with either color. Color does not vary by size.
Extra hardware
Karakoram STD clips
Jones Splitboards feature premium Karakoram K-clips plus tip and tail hooks. Adjustable tension K-clips increase board torsional stiffness and offer a superior connection to simple interlocking clips.

A dual-direction dual-layer stitched fiberglass laminate that provides a fun forgiving and snappy ride.

Sustainable strength. Basalt stringers are made with 100% natural fibers and help transfer power to the edges improve torsional response and absorb board chatter.
Bio Resin
Bio Resin is a bio-based epoxy made with 27% plant-based carbon instead of petroleum-based carbon. The organicc raw materials used to make bio-resin are co-products or waste products of plant-based industrial processes. Bio-resin requires 33% less greenhouse gas emissions to produce than conventional epoxy.
Stainless steel reinforcement
Stainless steel plates are embedded into the nose and tail for improved board tip durability.
Factory Tuned
All Jones Snowboards are factory de-tuned at the tip and tail so you can go right from the shop to the mountain.
Topsheet
Eco-plastic topsheet
Bio-plastic topsheet made from Castor beans. This eco-material is ultralight chip/scratch resistant and water/snow repellent (snow sticks less to topsheet)

Sizing Details
Choose your ideal board size range using your body weight and boot size.
To decide between two sizes choose the smaller size if your priority is maneuverability and freestyle performance choose the larger size if you're focused on riding fast and powder performance. A shorter board will be easier to turn and a longer board will offer better float and stability riding off-piste.
